Publishing
From simple publishing needs to complex projects such as University
Textbook publishing, we are experienced. The Process Using the University Textbook 'A Matter of Balance' as an
example, we met with the author and associates involved in the
project and comprehensively mapped out everything that would be
needed for the project. Elements were further detailed, and a
timeline was created with milestones to be met. Based on the elements required, we
drew up a draft contract for review by our client who then made
desired changes and we came to agreement on price. It was a
relaxed co-operative creative and practical process.
Production Pre existing Assets such as Photography, Artwork and copy were
submitted. Then Layouts were made and approved. Photos,
Art, and copy to be created were finished and the pages quickly took
shape.
Printing A Printing firm was brokered by us, based on best price and
quality (but, can be arranged by the client). Proofs were made of each page and approved by our client
for final publishing. We held the printing firm accountable
to the quality of the required printing proofs as stated in the contract. At each step of production and printing,
a critical eye by us was kept on every aspect.
The result was a perfect book without
any error, not even a typo. |
